The Hundred Headless Machine v.1

When I was 8 years old, I was given this book by Max Ernst in which I used to spend my nights. The relationship between the text and the image fascinated me, not knowing which was first. Did Ernst begin with a text and continue towards an image or did the latter evoke a title? And what was the nature of the text, if it was first? Was it already, in some way, an image? Or did the image, if it was first, already contain its textuality? The boundary between speech and figure was blurring for me as a child.
I have never paid this childhood debt. I took back the titles to generate, thanks to an artificial intelligence, images. These are in a way a collage, but of a new kind: collage crossing the epidermis of our networks and their hypermnesia, collage by induction, synthesis and statistics.
