The Dream of Stones – Book

These images have been generated by artificial intelligence, based on learning from photographs taken by Gregory Chatonsky in February 2023. The AI hallucinated AlUla, mineral, erosion and desert, detecting imaginary shapes, shifting from mineral to vegetable, from vegetable to organic, from stone to technology. A new landscape is invented, past or future, we don’t know, allowing us to revisit AlUla’s landscapes through the eyes of a machine that is our memory.
