Surrealism, and in particular Max Ernst, was a childhood story and one of my first aesthetic emotions. I had the Woman with 100 heads and Spier’s monograph. If the inner experience and the affects of this movement are foreign to me, the return of some of its forms through calculation and artificial intelligence, shows a machine hallucinating us.

Le Surréalisme, et en particulier Max Ernst, a été une histoire d’enfance et l’une de mes premières émotions esthétiques. J’avais la Femme 100 têtes et la monographie de Spier. Si l’expérience intérieure et les affects de ce mouvement me sont étrangers, le retour de certaines de ses formes par le biais du calcul et de l’intelligence artificielle, montre une machine en train de nous halluciner.
