Partant de 3 lieux qui ont été d’expérimentation artistique (AlUla, Talhuwen et le Havre), Grégory Chatonsky proposera de questionner le privilège accordé par certains de nos contemporains à la « nature vivante » et à une conception organiciste de la planétarité. L’inextricabilité d’époque entre l’IA et l’effondrement des conditions d’habitation sera l’occasion, à travers le récit de certaines de ses tentatives artistiques, de réélaborer la tripartition entre Terre, planète et globe. La Terre ne sera pas considérée comme un sol stable, mais à la manière d’un espace latent qui conjuguerait l’extinction, la contrefactualité et la résurrection.

Taking as his starting point 3 places that have been the site of artistic experimentation (AlUla, Talhuwen and Le Havre), Grégory Chatonsky will question the privilege accorded by some of our contemporaries to “living nature” and to an organicist conception of planetarity. The epochal inextricability between AI and the collapse of living conditions will provide an opportunity, through the story of some of his artistic endeavors, to re-elaborate the tripartition between Earth, planet and globe. The Earth will not be considered as a stable ground, but as a latent space that combines extinction, counterfactuality and resurrection.
