Il sera ici question des relations entre le cinéma et l’intelligence artificielle. Sous la forme d’un panorama technologique, allant de l’écriture à la postproduction en passant par le “tournage”, il s’agira de questionner la possibilité du cinéma dans le contexte de l’espace latent. Car au-delà des prouesses techniques, le cinéma a toujours porté son autre, la possibilité d’un autre cinéma. Ce récit du cinéma disparu, d’une historialité cinématographique dont le passé resterait en réserve, semble s’ouvrir avec l’IA à de nouvelles expérimentations. Plutôt qu’un territoire déjà formé, dont on citerait des exemples, il s’agit avec les étudiants-chercheurs de déployer de nouvelles possibilités.
